# 2021.7 Sunhold Chengdu Lawyer Team Attended “Free Law Counseling Services in Private Enterprise” Activity in Suining City, Sichuan Province
On July 16th, a group of five lawyers from Sunhold Chengdu office, leaded by executive director Caie Liu, were invited to attend “free law counseling services in private enterprise” activity in Suining City, Sichuan Province. Qingli Wen, party member of Administration for Market Regulation and vice director, together with representatives of private enterprises in Suining City, attended the law firm service memorandum signing ceremony. Director Caie Liu signed the memorandum with five private enterprises in Suining City representing our law firm.
Representing Lawyer Feng Long, Caie Liu and the lawyer team introduced the state of our law firm, the lawyer team, and service content to the enterprises at the meeting. According to the business scope and service characteristics of the five enterprises, five practicing lawyers were appointed to provide a one year’s “one-to-one” legal service. In the communication after the meeting, the enterprises all expressed that too many legal disputes came forward as the coronavirus applied much pressure on them and “free law counseling services in private enterprise” was like an oasis in the desert which met the needs for legal services. The activity also embodied the notion of Sunhold: “Actions build trust, results witness value”. We actively fulfill our social responsibility and do our best in the construction of law and development of city in Suining City.
# 2021.7 Sunhold Xian office co-sponsored “Do something practical for the public” the popularization of law in the grassroots activity series training activity
On the afternoon of July 14th, with the lead of Xi Xian New Area Administration for Market Regulation, Sunhold Xian Office hosted a series of lectures on food safety law popularization for grass roots. The lectures were co-sponsored by Shaanxi Continuous Education College，Shaanxi Continuous Education College Law Training Center, CPC Shanghai Sunhold (Xian) Law Firm Party Branch and The Third Branch of Municipal Authority China Democratic League, Xian Committee.
Lawyer Xuefeng Jin shared the guests the regulations and relevant penalty concerning purchase of food raw materials, production, sales, personnel management, etc. More than one hundred participants were present at the law popularization activity, which was praised unanimously and laid a good foundation for carrying out more law popularization activities.
# 2021.7 Sunhold New Lawyer Training Camp (phase II) ended successfully
During July 23-25, 2021, Sunhold New Lawyer Training Camp (phase II) was held at the Shanghai Tower, Pudong lawyer's activity center and Sunhold office in the office tower 1 of the Grand Gateway 66. 22 lawyers from Shanghai and Hangzhou offices were randomly divided into four groups. They spent three days in the training camp to learn valuable practical experience in litigation and non-litigation fields, and completed induction training to understand the internal operation of the law firm. In the training camp, they appreciated the culture of Sunhold law firm, exchanged practical experience and cultivated profound friendship.
Besides litigation and non-ligation, non-litigation in the fields of corporate affairs was highly focused on through the combination of lessons and simulation examination, which fully enriched the content of the courses. The review summary on the simulation examination deepened the lawyers’ understanding on the courses and helped gain more experience in practice.
# 2021.7 Lawyer Yu Li, member of Shanghai Jing'an District lawyers Committee of the Communist Party of China, won the honorary title of "outstanding communist party member of the Bar of Shanghai"
2021 is the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China. To celebrate the 100th birthday, display good sprit outlooks of Shanghai lawyers and set up a model of Shanghai lawyers, the Party committee of the Bar of Shanghai and Shanghai Lawyers Association held the "one hundred years of history, striving for the Chinese dream" commendation activity as well as an art show. The activity commended the advanced grassroots party organizations and outstanding communists in the national and the Bar of Shanghai and circulated a notice of commendation on the assistance of Shanghai lawyer industry on poverty alleviation as well as advanced communities and individuals on fighting against the coronavirus. Lawyer Yu Li, member of the CPC Committee of the Bar of Jing'an District, President of Jing'an District Women's law Federation and senior partner of Shanghai Sunhold law firm, won the title of Excellent Communist Party member in the Bar of Shanghai.
# 2021.7 China REITs practical advanced training course (phase IV) was successfully concluded
During July 24-25, sponsored by China REITs 50 Forum, jointly sponsored by ABS in Xiamen and RCREIT (Research Center for real estate investment trusts), and co-organized by Shanghai Sunhold law firm, China REITs practical advanced training course (phase IV) was successfully concluded in Shanghai.
China REITs practical advanced training course is the first domestic REITs practical advanced training course. In this course, we invited Liangui Luo, chief expert of Shanghai State-owned Capital Operation Research Institute and vice manager of Greetec Engineering Consultants, Chong Zhao, senior partner of Hansheng Law Offices and director of CAF100, Siya Wan, fund manager of Topsperity Securities Co.,Ltd. REITs business segment, Yongqing Ye, partner of King & Wood Mallesons and Xuehao Wang from King & Wood Mallesons as tutors. The course probed into contents including the pilot projects and development prospects of REITs infrastructure, analysis on the pilot projects of the first REITs, REITs infrastructure practice training and tax issues of the first nine REITs.
# 2021.7 Seminar on the law of women : Wealth risk faced by Chinese high net worth families and preventive suggestions concluded successfully
On July 30, "her series” special legal lectures，which theme was "China's high net worth family wealth risks and prevention”, jointly held by United Overseas Bank(UOB) and Shanghai Sunhold Law Firm was successfully held at Sunhold reception hall, the 75th floor in Shanghai Tower.
Lawyer Shan Gao made a detailed analysis and interpretation on legal issues customers may meet in marriage, family and life, reasonable risk isolation through pre-planning and comprehensive application of wealth management tools, and protection and inheritance of wealth in the process of creating wealth. UOB made an explanation on providing comprehensive and convenient financial services to the customers. After the seminar, Lawyer Shan Gao as well as lawyers in Sunhold had a heated free discussion with the customers. Through the seminar, we improved the legal consciousness of our female customers which can help them deal with potential risks calmly and guided them to use the law as a weapon and protect their own rights.
# 2021.7 Lawyer Bing Liang from Sunhold Chengdu Office was Exclusively Interviewed by Meishan City, Sichuan Province Intermediate Court
In July, the prosecution of one case represented by Lawyer Bing Liang was submitted to Meishan City, Sichuan Province Intermediate Court. After Liang set about handling the case, the whole process of registration, transfer to intellectual property mediator and reaching a settlement only took two days. In high efficiency, Liang, as well as the both parties, only spent half an hour on reaching a settlement. The case was finally brought to a satisfactory settlement and the whole process was recorded. Liang was exclusively interviewed by Meishan City, Sichuan Province Intermediate Court, who was planning a law popularization with the interview. The successful settlement of the case reflects Sunhold’s professionalism and competence. Our fellows will continue to keep pace with the times and keep updating legal procedures in cases. We would pay strong attention on front-end solutions and multi -solution and continuously devote ourselves to better legal effect and social impact.

On August 20th, 2021, worldly well-known legal magazine Asian Legal Business (ALB) announce the ALB China’s fast 15 growing firms ranking, with Sunhold law firm on the list. Sunhold law firm was praised for its excellent legal service and steady growth. On August 20, Sunhold Law Office formally announced the “Cloud Office Program”. Sunhold “Cloud Office program” refers to allocating available lawyers, considering their actual situation, into “Cloud Offices” in corresponding regions. Making full use of regional differences and geographical advantage, our plan assists the cultivation and development of the internal market.

On August 20, through a series of procedures including public solicitation of intentions, self-recommended or recommended registration and public presentation, initial reviews of partner meetings, and individual solicitation of views by senior partners, after a collective and careful study, Sunhold Law Firm Executive Committee was formally established. This establishment declares Sunhold’s transformation from director-based managing(serving) method to lawyer-based managing method. The aim is to optimize the management, improve the operational efficiency, promote organizational change and help achieve sustainable development.
# 2021.8 Activity Review on Sunhold Law Firm 16th Anniversary
Time never lives, time never flows. On August 11, 2021, Sunhold Law Firm celebrated its 16th birthday. Although the epidemic made it difficult to meet face-to-face with friends who cared about and supported Sunhold on the birthday, Sunhold spent the special day warmly and lovingly by lighting up the tower crown of Shanghai Center, organizing internal birthday parties, and elaborately customizing cultural shirts and accompanying gifts.

On the afternoon of August 12, “Legal and Commercial Thinking Salon” co-organized by Guo'an Xinyin(Jiaxing) Assets Management Co., Ltd and Sunhold Law Firm was held successfully in Sunhold reception hall on the 75th floor of Shanghai Tower. The theme was “How to Prevent Embezzlement or Separation in Succession and Inheritance of Family Enterprises”. On August 13, thematic legal lecture on “Investment and Practice of Non-performing Assets” jointly sponsored by Sunhold and “Dai Shu An Jia” was successfully concluded in Sunhold reception hall on the 75th floor of Shanghai Tower. Partner Yunqin Gu of Sunhold Shanghai, combining his 15-year professional experience on non-performing asset industry and practice on the history of non-performing asset, industry trends and historical cases, gave a detailed lecture on housing mortgage bond investment. On the morning of August 26 Baoshan District Biomedical Industry High Quality Development Forum & Baoshan Medicine Valley Salon ( Phase II ), sponsored by Luodian Town People’s Government, undertaken by MEDIPARK and co-sponsored by Sunhold Law Firm was held in Meilan Lake International Convention Center. On September 10th, Sunhold Law Firm Grand Gateway 66 Office held the flag presentation ceremony for the first batch of six sports teams. On the afternoon of September 7th, Cai’e Lou, executive director of Sunhold Chengdu Office and party branch secretary Sheng Guan leaded more than ten party numbers as well as masses visited “A Splendid Epic, A great Leap, Sichuan Province’s Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of CCP Theme Exhibition”. The pictures, words, real objects and simulated scenes of the exhibition provided fellows of Sunhold Chengdu Office with an immersive experience in the historical scenes in every period of the 100 years, the arduous course of CCP in the 100 years, and the pioneering and heroic revolutionary spirits of Sichuan people under the lead of CCP.

Sunhold school(phase Ⅰ) was held in Sunhold reception room on the 75th floor of Shanghai Tower on September 5(Sunday) & September 11(Saturday). Sunhold invited Professor Mingbin Yao, associate professor of the Law School of East China University of Political Science and Law and master tutor, a famous scholar who further studies the basis and case application of claim right to host the practice course of Sunhold School: System of the Civil Code and the method of basis of claim right. # 2021.7 Sunhold Lawyers’ Outdoor Club Zhoushan Self-driving Tour ended Successfully
On the midday of July 10, about 30 fellows of Sunhold Lawyers’ Outdoor Club came to the beautiful and charming Zhoushan Zhujiajian. The blue sea, golden beach and circling seagulls swept all our tiredness. Our fellows drove freely on the island, chased the wind and waves, and shared seafood dinners, what a great fun! Though the two-day trip was short, everybody gained a lot. We look forward to our next pleasant trip.
# 2021.9 A Successful Completion of the Early Autumn Cycling Trip to Dishui Lake for Sunhold Cycling Team & Lawyers’ Cycling Club
